Werder – Bayern M Preview
Werder Bremen hosts Bayern Munich at their own Weserstadion in a match from the 4th round of the Bundesliga. Stay with us and our best soccer predictions today. Here we go!
Werder are unbeaten since the beginning of the 2024/25 season – they have one win and two draws. It’s a good beginning for Ole Werner’s team – as long as they are not losing, everything is fine.
Last weekend the Bremen side achieved its first win for the season. Werder paid a visit to Mainz at the MEWA ARENA and enjoyed a 2-1 win. Marvin Ducksch opened the score for the visitors while Derrick Kohn doubled the lead.
Werder won the game despite playing more than 30 minutes with a red card. Marco Friedl was sent off in the 60th minute. It means that Friedl won’t play against Bayern on Saturday.
Bayern Munich are flawless since the arrival of the new head coach Vincent Kompany. The Bavarians lead the standings with a perfect record of 9 points. During the week they also broke the record for most goals scored in a single Champions League game – 9-2 against Dinamo Zagreb.
Kompany’s team really had a lot of fun against the Croatians. Scoring 9 goals in a single Champions League game is a huge achievement for sure. Harry Kane scored four goals for Bayern, although three of them were penalties. Raphael Guerreiro, Michael Olise, Leroy Sane and Leon Goretzka scored as well.
Kompany won’t make many changes against Werder in the next game. He could eventually pick Joao Palhinha, Kingsley Coman or Leroy Sane from the bench. But the core of the team will be formed of the players who started against Dinamo.
That’s the best soccer predictions today for the Bundesliga clash between Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich. Will the Bavarians make it four from four here? Let’s see.
